evolution

Did Humans emerge from lesser species? Do we have gorillas to thank for hairy backed men? What about the unibrow? How did that happen?
But seriosly, is man (and all of creation) a product of evolution or were we created as the species to which we currently exist?

The issues brought up at the past meeting on “evolution” were, to say the least, challenging. I really appreciate the interaction of all the students that came. It continues to confirm that this is a safe place to voice your opinion and not be judged by it. I think we all come seeking answers, I mean we are human and we "want to know all the answers", but like in so many cases we might not get what we want. But we can trust that we will receive what we need and that is to look inside ourselves and wrestle with the fact that we do not know everything and our own opinions are not always right.
Agree to disagree, I mean let's face it, some things we will never know or maybe are not to know, until the true creator of life, Jesus Christ, tells us in His divine wisdom, "what the crap have you kids been arguing about for so many years, here are the answers." Until this day, keep an open mind and sensetive heart for a movement of the Holy Spirit and maybe GOD will give us a little insight on the mysteries of life.

God is good.
The day after the Well, God set up a divine appointment for me with a friend who's struggling with the very issue of evolution vs. creation.
Mainly, he just really wanted someone to listen to him and not shoot down every word he said.
He's coming to church with me on Sunday.

These are issues that mankind has struggled with since the Age of Enlightenment. It is my prayer that this topic makes people think and that it stirs up the nest just enough for the community to walk away with a awe for God and an inspiration for Divine wisdom.
There is a little truth in both arguments, IMHO. Ask the questions "why do I exist," or "How does God want me to deal with this riddle."
